Charlotte is a nomadic vampire roaming North America with her mate Peter. Neither are vegetarian.
Physical Appearance Charlotte is described as "Alice-sized and white-blonde". Charlotte will be portrayed by actress Valorie Curry in the second half of Breaking Dawn. |
History
She was originally created in the south as part of Maria's newborn vampire army. She was called by Jasper to be killed. Enraged by this, Peter yelled her to run and bolted after her. They both escaped, later mating. Peter went back for Jasper, who lived with them for a while before deciding to leave them because of the overwhelming emotion of his prey. Peter and Charlotte stayed on good terms with the Cullens, visiting them several times.
Breaking Dawn
The two of them came to help testify against the Volturi when the Cullens were accused of creating an immortal child (Renesmee).
Etymology
Charlotte is the German feminine form of Charles, meaning "man".
